Merry Christmas, Buon Natale....

Well I opened a little gift for my dragonfly baby from Vanh and Max and it is a lovely onesie with little hearts and dragonflies on it and a baby rattle with dragonflies on it too ....Grazie so much Max and Vanh...will try to take a photo of it and upload....for now with my photo of my cat Bice (photo taken by Marsha during her visit), who loves the tree, we're wishing everyone a Buon Natale, Merry Christmas.

Well I tried to resist but couldn't help buying a gift for my baby for Christmas....while for now it is still an act of faith, it is a heart-full wish too....so for all on this Christmas eve day, and on the vigilia tonight, I wish you all and especially PAP's who are still waiting, the joy and peace of the season where another child was born and loved by many...

August 5, 2008 Mailed Adoption documents to Agency

Sept. 29, 2008/Oct. Dosier to Vietnam (DTV)

October 3, 2008 Found out that Ministry of Children approved Application to Adopt.

October 27, 2008 - Received Part 1 - Citizenship Approval

October 27. 2008 - was told from Sept. 29. 08 - 18-20 months...

November, 30, 2009 told that a child proposal could come within 3 months.

Updating paperwork.....

Just to note, on Thursday I filled out all the forms to update the criminal record checks and next week the medicals....more paperwork...........never ending....

First Snow Fall, First bit of news....

Wanted to write a bit as I am still not sure about a blog but wanted to at least document the process....with the first snow fall of the season (though it has all melted away) there has been a bit of news....my agency contacted me yesterday to let me know that, if all goes smoothly I should have a proposal for a child within the next three months....have all sorts of mixed feelings; however today excitement is the dominant one....
